Red Velvet Cake

This cake is so moist and soft and is a spectacular desert with the lip smacking cream cheese frosting. It has a tinge of cocoa powder to it which gives it a hint of chocolate flavor which tastes amazing. Its a recipe you would love to bookmark or write down in your recipe book as it is truely an all time favourite desert as well as not difficult to bake at all :D Just follow the procedure accurately and you will make this cake again and again as this cake turns out to be really beautiful and its gorgeous red color makes you love it even more. Chocolate Mousse

It has a very strong chocolate flavor along with being dense and thick. You could always go for milk chocolate if semi-sweet isn't what you like. Ingredients: 1 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup water divided 2 Tbsp butter (this is a must, no substituting) 3 large egg yolks 2 Tbsp sugar 1 1/3 cup whipping cream Method In a microwave safe bowl, place the chocolate chips, 1/4 cup of the water, and 2 tbsp of butter. Microwave on high for 20 seconds and then stir. Then microwave in 10 second intervals, stirring after each one, until the mixture is well blended and melted. (Took me a total of 30 seconds). Allow to cool for 10 minutes. In a small saucepan, whisk together the remaining 1/4 cup of water, egg yolks, and sugar. Cook over low heat, make sure you do it right. This takes about 1-2 minutes.
