Tea Time Bournvita Cake

      INGREDIENTS: 3/4th cup All Purpose Flour 4 eggs 1/4th cup Cocoa Powder 1/4th cup Bournvita 5star 65 gms Semi Sweet Chocolate 3/4th cup Oil Milk to thin down the batter 3/4th cup Powdered Sugar 1 tsp Vanilla Essence 1 tsp Vinegar 1 tsp Baking Soda 1 Baking Powder 1/2 tsp Cake Gel METHOD: 1. Beat egg till double in quantity and fluffy. 2. Add Sugar,Vanilla essence, Cake Gel and beat well. 3. Slowly add oil and keep beating. 4. Sieve and add Flour, Cocoa powder, Baking Powder. Beat well. 5. Add bournvita, melted chocolate and beat. 6. Mix vinegar and baking soda, when it bubbles add it to the batter and beat. 7. Grease and Bake in a Preheated oven at 180C for 30-35mins.

Lemon meringue tart

Well goodfood is one website which  I keep looking up for new and nice recipes. This time I was looking for something made with lemons. So I found this recipe of little lemon meringue pies which fascinated me due to the golden meringue peaks and the bright yellow lemon filling. I gathered all my ingredients , changed he proportions according to my availability of them and went on ahead baking it. They are refreshing and sweet with a lovely shortcrust pastry crust. A must try! Ingredients: 100 gms flour 100 gms butter A lightly whisked egg 30+112 + 50 gms sugar Zest of 3 lemons Juice of 2 lemons 4 whole eggs 2 eggs separated few drops of vanilla essence Method: 1. Make the shortcrust pastry by first making a sandy mixture with flour, 50 gms butter, 30gms sugar. Knead and get the dough together using half of the whisked egg. Chocolate fondant

I was always tempted and fascinated by choco lava cakes which ooze out chocolate from the center. So here I go baking one of those!  So a chocolate fondant/molten chocolate cake/choco lava cake  is super easy to make but you only need to be patient enough to have it, because the recipe does ask for you to wait for a few hours before you savor its molten chocolate center. Prep , wait and then savor this with a scoop of vanilla icecream :D Ingredients: 250 gm dark chocolate 270 gm butter  8 eggs 180 gms caster sugar 2 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder 4 tbsp cocoa powder Method:  Melt chocolate and butter over a double boiler or your microwave oven and set aside to cool. In another bowl whisk eggs and sugar until thick and foamy. Whisk in flour , baking powder , cocoa and melted chocolate and butter mix in.
