Fusion Indian Pancake (Chilla)

INGREDIENTS: 1 cup Grated Cottage Cheese 5 tbsp Gram Flour 5 tbsp Semolina 1/2 cup Curd 1 cup chopped Tomatoes and Onions 1 egg 1 tsp Garlic Paste 1 tbsp Harissa Dressing 1 tsp Red Chilli Paste 3/4 tsp Baking Powder Red Chilli Powder Salt and Pepper Turmeric Milk to Thin the batter down METHOD: 1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir. 2. Add milk to thin down the batter.  3. Heat the pan and drizzle some oil. 4. Take a spoonful of batter, spread it in a circular motion and cook the pancake or chilla on both sides till brown. 5. Serve hot with ketchup and green chutney.

Cottage Cheese Sandwiches My Way

INGREDIENTS: Cottage Cheese Ranch Dressing Red Chilli Paste Onion Rings Apple Cider Vinegar Tomato Butter (softened) Bread  Mayonnaise Southwest Dressing Green Chutney  Salt and Pepper          METHOD: Marinate thin slices of cottage cheese in ranch dressing and chilli paste. Soak onion rings in apple cider vinegar. On 1 slice of bread, spread Southwest Dressing and Butter on either sides and on the other slice of bread, spread Mayonnaise and Butter similarly. Place the slice with  mayonnaise as the base, with its butter side down.   5.Assemble by layering the following in order: Cottage  Cheese, Tomato Roundels, Onion Rings, dash of Green  Chutney, Seasoning and then Southwest Slice of bread, with butter side up.  6.Toast and Serve hot with spoonful of mayonnaise and  tomato ketchup  Note:  Dressings are of the Brand- Vega.  There is no specific measurement of any ingredient, so please keep on tasting and make your bre

Breakfast Diaries

So, I figured after a few years of cooking at home and at friend's places after sleepovers, that I am kinda good at making breakfast. Its more about making a good breakfast with ingredients at hand I believe. Therefore, minimalistic is great for me at times when it comes to breakfast because, that is what comfort food is all about to me.. Less is more. It was about a typical Sunday morning when i realized that i should do something about it. I had time and so, Tuesday I started off with it. It was the first time in my life when I could myself choose not to start off with something on a Monday, so why not? I have posted 5 pictures up on my Instagram  feed by now and their recipes in my story. Just to have a permanent reference of them I will now start posting here too. Every college treat and free times have been celebrated at your humble abode, no matter how long is the waiting time. Food you sell is so delicious that its worth the patience. Its not only the food but so many things attached to it : 1.   The Ambiance -  lovely music, comfortable furniture, casual dining theme, warm cozy lighting. 2.   The table set up  - which truly says that you are cared for by the placement of a squeezy easy bottle of freshly made mayonnaise and a bottle of water. 3.   Affordability -  bill at the end of the meal is always a shocker with approximately Rs 700-800 for 2 (appetizer + main course + individual beverages) 4.   Serving  -  Size of serving is so that it can be consumed by a person with a monster appetite.  Burgers are accompanied with fresh potato chips and main course with creamy mashed potato. 5.Menu  -
