Chocolate Mousse

It has a very strong chocolate flavor along with being dense and thick. You could always go for milk chocolate if semi-sweet isn't what you like. Ingredients: 1 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup water divided 2 Tbsp butter (this is a must, no substituting) 3 large egg yolks 2 Tbsp sugar 1 1/3 cup whipping cream Method In a microwave safe bowl, place the chocolate chips, 1/4 cup of the water, and 2 tbsp of butter. Microwave on high for 20 seconds and then stir. Then microwave in 10 second intervals, stirring after each one, until the mixture is well blended and melted. (Took me a total of 30 seconds). Allow to cool for 10 minutes. In a small saucepan, whisk together the remaining 1/4 cup of water, egg yolks, and sugar. Cook over low heat, make sure you do it right. This takes about 1-2 minutes. Now for the tricky part, remove from the heat and continue whisking. This is important so you don’t end up with scrambled eggs. Now, whisk t...

A wonderful comfort food so go bake 'em in no time. :D Ingredients 2 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 3/4th cup powdered sugar 1 cup packed light brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 and 1/4 cup chocolate chips Method In a large bowl , mix the flour and baking powder. In a separate bowl , cream the butter and sugar , then add the eggs , one at a time , mixing well after each addition. Next, stir in the vanilla extract and gradually stir in the flour mixture until well combined. Add the chips and stir again. For chewy cookies , refrigerat...
