Oh lord, how can one not eat burgers, pizzas, noodles, rice, potato, etc?? But I am pretty strong headed this time! Soooo.. I have planned on having nutritious, moderate on calorie intake and GOOD food. At first, you can't think of much when you use the two words ( nutritious and GOOD food) together. Grilled Breakfast rolls

Image
I just got a new oven and so I planned on grilling something today. Breakfast is the heaviest meal in the day for me. Its the only time where I eat ingredients like cheese, chicken, eggs, etc. So, I tired making this breakfast roll out of bread today. When I used to go to my Grandma's in summer vacations, she often used to roll up some cottage cheese in a rolled out slice of bread, pan fry it, give it to me and my cousins for snack time. Taking inspiration from there, I made my breakfast in a similar manner. As I told you that I learn through this entire process of blogging and experimenting with food, here is what i learnt today : I was eating out those olives in my garnish and realized if some chopped jalapenos or olives would go inside the filling it would taste reallllyy amazing or another idea is to make a dressing out of chopped olives, olive oil, lemon and mustard or mayo.  Henceforth, I am going to work on my Dressing and post it soon as I believe its going to turn ou...

Breakfast Diaries

So, I figured after a few years of cooking at home and at friend's places after sleepovers, that I am kinda good at making breakfast. Its more about making a good breakfast with ingredients at hand I believe. Therefore, minimalistic is great for me at times when it comes to breakfast because, that is what comfort food is all about to me.. Less is more. It was about a typical Sunday morning when i realized that i should do something about it. I had time and so, Tuesday I started off with it. It was the first time in my life when I could myself choose not to start off with something on a Monday, so why not? I have posted 5 pictures up on my Instagram  feed by now and their recipes in my story. Just to have a permanent reference of them I will now start posting here too. I hope this works well for my readers, if some of them are out there. I hope some are? From tomorrow I am on it. Just wait for it :) You can follow me on Instagram , Facebook , Twitter and Medium .

Blueberry Cheesecake Tartlets

Image
This is something I made because of my sheer love for cream cheese. And its all the way more fun to make these tiny tartlets because while making the filling you can keep on tasting and adding a thing like your own chemical X to it. The formula behind it is to mix everything together according to your own taste. Please your tastebuds with whatever flavors you want in these, with a few base ingredients there to help you modify. For the short crust tart you can check my link on the lemon meringue tart. The only thing you need to do differently is not blind bake it. Instead you have to bake the tarts completely until they are golden brown. LINK : http://dinimadaryani.blogspot.in/2015/07/lemon-meringue-tart.html Ingredients: Cream Cheese - 100 gms  Butter ( salted ) - 50 gms  Icing sugar - 50 gms  Melted white chocolate - ...
